Launching schools every year is a tedious process filled with delays and beginning of the year complexity. To create excitement around LightSail at the beginning of the year schools were sent a LaunchBox. Each box contained a Class Kit for every class using LightSail. The Class Kit provided teachers with a banner, poster and stickers to track the class's minutes read in the LightSail Launch Reading Challenge a national contest in which students and teachers could win awards and recognition. Additional branded support materials were provided to school administrators / literacy coaches in a USB accompanying a Welcome letter.
